A recreational vehicle (RV) can provide days, weeks, months, even years of enjoyment for you and your family. If you think that your RV doesn’t require insurance, you may want to think again. The term RV covers a wide range of vehicles from campers and motor homes to quads and even snowmobiles for the winter.
Any vehicle that requires a license plate and will travel on public roads is required by law to have insurance. There are a variety of levels that you can choose to cover your RV. While you may believe that snowmobiles and quads do not require insurance (if unplated), it’s still a responsible act to carry coverage and is also important to carry more insurance than the minimum required by law. In Ontario, all plated vehicles must carry insurance.
